Cuillin Sweater PDF Pattern
Cuillin Sweater PDF Pattern
Cuillin is one of those garments you instinctly reach for.
The sample is shown in Shilasdair Coara Rope, a bulky plant-dyed yarn from the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I wanted to design something that'd showcase a gorgeous yarn rooted in a particular landscape.
I chose a simple, meditative stitch pattern for the body and stocking stitch for the sleeves. The edges are framed by garter stitch bands calling back to the body's stitch pattern.
Whether you intend to wear it for hiking in hills or lounging around indoors, Cuillin is a comfortable and easy sweater to wear. It is slightly oversized, slightly cropped, and very lovely to knit.
